We are Team 3188 Squiggle Splat Bang, a multi-time state champion and Worlds-qualified FTC Robotics Team from Powell, WY. As a nonprofit, we use our experience and success to help other students across Wyoming start and sustain FIRST Tech Challenge robotics teams—especially in communities where resources are scarce.
SSB Robotics began in the early 2010s as one of Wyoming’s first FTC teams. Today, we’re more than competitors—we’re educators, mentors, and advocates. We've seen firsthand how a lack of funding, tools, and mentorship limits students’ potential.
That’s why we created SSB Robotics as a nonprofit initiative:
To provide grants for new and existing FTC teams
To share our resources, like engineering portfolios and CAD files
To train and support mentors and students across the state
And to create equity in STEM opportunities in every Wyoming community
We offer free and practical tools for both new and established FTC teams:

✅ CAD Files & Code Samples – Freely downloadable to learn and build faster
✅ Mentorship & Team Startup Guidance – Help with registering, organizing, and succeeding in FTC
✅ Equipment Access Grants – Help acquiring 3D printers, extra robot kits, and non-KOP (kit of parts) components
